The Children's Place
Finding long term employment can be extremely difficult when you do not have child care services. The Children's Place (TCP) offers a short-term (3 hour), safe, healthy, and developmentally appropriate place for children while their legal guardians utilize the services of the Gambell Job Center.
Parents or guardians will receive quality child care by qualified and friendly staff, parenting information, and may contact our main office to receive referrals for permanent child care. The Children's Place serves children ages 12 months through 12 years. Space is limited and children ages one through five have attendance priority. We do recommend that parents or guardians make appointments for their children, but drop-ins are welcome as long as space is available.
