Parenting Support Classes
Parenting is one of the
most rewarding yet challenging jobs. Child Care Connection
is dedicated to supporting and empowering parents throughout
this process. We offer weekly parenting support classes that
educate parents about child development and enable parents
to network with other parents.
Free child care and a light meal are offered during each
of the classes. Class topics are designed to build on one
another, so parents are encouraged to attend all 9 classes.
Participation in the complete series helps to build rapport
and connections with other participants and the instructor.
However, parents can begin at any point in the series.
Classes are $10 per person/per class or $15 per couple/per
class and participants who attend all classes will receive
one free class. This service is funded through Alaska
Children’s Trust.
