| Child Care Referral Services
Child Care Connection, Inc. provides referrals to child care programs only, we do not provide recommendations. Parents are encouraged to visit and interview providers before making a final decision about their child care.
Family services are provided free of charge, to include referrals, library use, and consumer information.
Child Care Connection’s Family Services department helps families find child care by conducting an individualized search from our child care database which includes types of programs such as family child care homes, centers, preschool programs, Head Start programs, and more.
We search by family’s specific needs including the child’s age, location, desired program type, transportation options, and other attributes important to the family.
We can also answer many important questions about the child care programs in our database such as vacancies, fees, policies, caregiver experience, and types of activities available.
Our database includes providers located throughout South Central Alaska. We are continuously updating our database to include providers in other South Central communities.

Concerns about Child Care Connection, Inc. services can be directed to 563-1966.
Concerns about an early and care and education provider should be directed to Child Care Licensing at 343-6700 (within Anchorage Bowl) or to 269-4500 (outside of Anchorage). Concerns about an Approved Home should be directed to 269-4500.

Whenever Child Care Connection’s confidential data is requested by any person or organization, an Authorization for Exchange of Information form will be required. Information will not be provided without prior knowledge and signature.
