Financial
Support
Child Care Connection offers a variety
of funding opportunities to help pay for the cost of educational
expenses. In establishing the criteria for the allocation
of funding, CCC strives for a balance between programmatic
and geographic diversity. It is also essential that all applicants
realize that none of our financial options are guaranteed
and that all programs are limited by general funding restrictions.
The Individual Reimbursement Fund (IRF) is one of our most
widely utilized funding programs. This fund offers a 75% reimbursement
for qualifying educational expenses up to $500 a fiscal year
(July 1 to June 30). The IRF
form must be submitted after the completion of the training
to receive this funding.
Our travel grant is designed to assist providers in
rural areas travel to relevant training such as conferences
and workshops. The Travel
Grant Application must be submitted and approved in advance
of the actual travel dates.
For child care providers who are currently pursuing their
Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate, Child Care
Connection offers a free CDA advisor and, depending on the
availability of funding, will pay the total CDA application
fee.
New funding opportunities may become available throughout
the year so check this page often. In addition, many factors
influence the ability of an individual or program to qualify
for a specific funding option so contact
us for additional information about our funding opportunities.
