Children (NAEYC) with support from Child Care Connection,
Inc. (CCC)
For more information on the NAEYC Accreditation process, visit

After reading the above information, if you are interested
in beginning the NAEYC Accreditation process ask yourself
the following questions:
- Does the program meet the eligibility standards for NAEYC
Accreditation?
- Is the team of staff interested in going through self
study and self reflection of the program?
- Is the team of staff committed to a collaborative effort
around this long term goal?
CCC offers the following support services for Child Care
Centers pursuing Accreditation through NAEYC:
- Financial assistance
- On-site consultation services
- Accreditation study groups
- Training/mentoring
- Technical assistance
- E-mail and phone support services
The Self Study process of NAEYC Accreditation is designed
to encourage programs to engage in a structured approach of
improvement. It is an essential step towards NAEYC Accreditation;
however programs may also enroll even if they do not expect
to proceed with other steps toward NAEYC Accreditation in
the near future.
If you have questions, would like additional information,
or are ready to begin the NAEYC Self Study process please
contact Betsy Harris at bharris@childcareconnection.org
or call (907) 563-2954.
